Beautiful curly-haired hare under winter blossoms and full moon

A soft snow is falling this long, dark night.
White fields shine with a full moon’s light,
and ice crystals tremble
on the long fingers
of the sentinel oak
that stands
guardian to this gentle place
Life gently unfolds within the darkness of Winter’s womb,
for the nurturing stillness of Winter is the Dark Mother’s grace,
It is…
A sacred pause,
A time to rest,
to gather…
